Simple answer—start early and lead by example! Live Thrive is working to bring environmental education to all levels through the CHaRM facility.

Education and Tours

Live Thrive offers a variety of educational opportunities for the general public, schools, civic and corporate groups.
From on-site tour experiences and field trips to off-site Lunch and Learns and career days,  Live Thrive provides customized experiences for all groups.

Sustainable Material Management

This class helps educate the public on proper waste disposal from their homes and businesses.

This session covers the effects of improper waste disposals on environment and climate change. Living with the future in mind!

Recycle101

Recycling 101

This class is an overview of items that can be recycled curbside, hard-to-recycle materials and the importance of reuse.

Group Facility Tours

Who:
Community, civic or corporate groups

Description:
This experience includes
an overview of Live Thrive’s mission, history of Live Thrive and CHaRM, information how the materials are collected and processed on-site, tips for sustainable materials management and recycling 101, and a full tour of the CHaRM facility! 

Cost:
$10 per person

Duration:
45 minutes to 1 hour and 15 minutes 

Additional Info:
Free onsite parking available for groups.
Be sure to dress for the weather as most of the tour is outdoors. Closed toe shoes required.

School/Home School Field Trips

Who:
Schools, classes, homeschool programs, summer camp groups and more! 

Description:
This field trip includes
an overview of Live Thrive’s mission, history of Live Thrive and CHaRM, information on how the materials are collected and processed on-site, tips for how to incorporate sustainable materials management and recycling 101 at school and at home, an interactive game, and a full tour of the CHaRM facility! The tour of site will include educational components that are based on what the group is currently focused on and learning about. For example, natural resources, climate change, recycling basics, etc.

Parking available on-site for buses. Be sure to dress for the weather as most of the tour is outdoors. Closed toe shoes required.

Lunch and Learn

The Live Thrive team can come to your office or host a virtual meeting to discuss Sustainable Material Management or Recycling 101. The Lunch and Learns can also be customized to meet the group or company’s objectives. For more information, click below to fill out a form with your details.
